How it works
BEFORE YOU GO

questions.

Does the app track my location?

No. You choose your current city and add trips yourself. The app never requests live GPS or background location. You can update or remove what you share at any time.

Who can see my city and travel plans?

Only friends you have accepted. Your city, trips, travel history and optional contact details are never public. Full access is required to see complete friend travel information.

What can I do for free?

Create your profile, share your city, add visited countries and one future trip, invite and accept friends, and explore your own map. An annual plan or a qualifying referral reward unlocks the complete friend map and match details.

How does the free year with friends work?

Invite three new people with your referral link or code. Each person must create a new account, finish onboarding, choose a city and become your accepted friend. Once all three qualify, you receive 12 months of full access. At renewal, subscribe or qualify with three new friends.

Can I message my friends in the app?

The app helps you find the connection. Then you can reach out through the Instagram or WhatsApp details a friend has chosen to share. There is no separate in-app chat to keep up with.

When can I download it?

We’re getting Where Are My Friends ready for iOS and Android. It isn’t available in the stores yet. You can explore the example circle on this page now; download links will appear here at launch.
